centuries. Downstairs Theater. Ages 5 and up.
*Due to lack of visa approval for 6 of the 8 puppeteers,
the Center was forced to cancel this performance. After a
year of preparation, following normal procedures for visa
application and receiving initial approval for the petition
from the United States Citizenship and Immigration
Services, the Center received notice that the U.S. Embassy
in Guangzhou, China, denied the visas for all but 2 of the
performers. In these times of heightened security, it has
become problematic to bring artistic groups from overseas,
and this time the problems proved insurmountable, forcing
our cancellation of the show.
