The advance recycling fee levied on electrical and electronic appliances is transferred
from the dealers and importers to the SENS fund. This fund continued to enjoy highly
satisfactory growth in all appliance categories in 2011.

SENS remains one of the leading
recycling systems in Europe.

Large household appliances
In 2011 the number of recycled
large household appliances, such
as cookers, dishwashers and
washing machines, remained
constant at a high 523,933.
