Technische fiche CEIBA PopulierPLYWOODIt’s a wood based panel, composed by an odd number of layers, bonded with glue and overlapped with the graindirection of the contiguous layers disposed at right angle (ref. UNI EN 313-2).COMPOSITIONThe outside faces are made from ceiba veneers, while the panel internal layers are generally composed bypoplar veneers. The grain of the outside faces is normally longitudinal, that is parallel with the direction of thegreater dimension. This dimension conventionally denotes (UNI EN 313-2) the panel’s dimension which isparallel with the layers’ grain and which corresponds to the first numerical value used to indicate its superficialdimension (for example, a longitudinal plywood is characterized by the indication “250x125 cm”).CLASSIFICATION OF THE QUALITY (according to faces / counter faces aspect)The classification of the quality follows the indications of UNI EN 635-2 standards. The plywood panel called“ceiba” is classified as II/III (corresponding to B/BB UNI 6469-69), according to the quality of its faces /counterfaces.FORMALDEHYDE RELEASECeiba plywood panel, complies with E1 Class according to the requirements of UNI EN 636.
