Itcombines high specifications with functional design, resulting in a long product life.While primary intended forindustrial uses, the LFMadapts equally well fordomestic use. Themagnifying head is made ofABS polymer, combininglightness with high impactstrength. The 22 Watt energysaving circular fluorescentlamp provides a high lightoutputwith a minimum ofheat. The ø127 mm glasslens is positioned in themiddle of the circular tube,the ideal way of illuminatingan object, virtuallyeliminating shadows. Ahinged lens cover isstandard; it acts like a dustcover and prevents the lensfrom acting like a burningglass.It is removable whennot required. A transparenttube protection cover, madefrom rigid polycarbonate isstandard. For additionalmagnification, secondarylenses can be fixed to LFM inseconds.

It is the only magnifier to offer both shadow-freemagnification with light coming from both sides, as well as three-dimensional magnification with light coming from theleft or right. The 3D-feature is especially welcome when working with circuit boards or similar delicate objects.By illuminating from one sideonly, depth perception isincreased and positioning ofthe objects are made easier.The large rectangular lens,175 x 108 mm, permitscomfortable viewing withboth eyes. The slim edge infront of the lens ensures thateye contact with the objectviewed is not lost whenswitching from magnificationto normal viewing and backagain.
