Clickon the “<strong>Football</strong> History” tab and then click on “History Index,” and locate the storycalled “<strong>African</strong> <strong>American</strong>s in Pro <strong>Football</strong>.”• Scan the list of “Firsts” by <strong>African</strong> <strong>American</strong>s in Pro <strong>Football</strong>.• Students fill in the timeline (page 4) of events they deem significant. • Students should compile a list of questions to be asked to Willie Brown during theprogram.During Program• Students will listen as Willie Brown shares stories about their life.• Students will learn how pro football pioneers not only broke color barriers on the fieldbut helped break color barriers off the field as well.• Students will ask prepared questions of Willie Brown.• Students will complete the Willie Brown worksheet provided (pages 5-6).
