72About Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability SolutionsKnown issuesnodes, a logowner change event might, in rare instances, render vradmincommands unusable on some or all of the cluster nodes. In such instances, thefollowing message appears in the "Config Errors:" section of the output of thevradmin repstatus and vradmin printrvg commands:vradmind not reachable on cluster peerIn addition, all other vradmin commands (except vradmin printvol) fail with theerror:"VxVM VVR vradmin ERROR V-5-52-488 RDS has configuration error relatedto the master and logowner."This is due to a defect in the internal communication sub-system, which will beresolved in a later release.Workaround:Restart vradmind on all the cluster nodes using the following commands:# /etc/init.d/vras-vradmind.sh stop# /etc/init.d/vras-vradmind.sh startWhile vradmin commands are running, vradmind may temporarily loseheart beats (2071568, 2275444)This issue may occasionally occur when you use vradmin commands to administerVVR.
