This may happen if you do not run theElectPrimary comm<strong>and</strong> to elect the new Primary or if the previous ElectPrimarycomm<strong>and</strong> did not complete successfully.Workaround:Destroy the instant snapshots manually using the vxrvg -g dg -P snap_prefixsnapdestroy rvg comm<strong>and</strong>. Clear the application service group <strong>and</strong> bring it backonline manually.A snapshot volume created on the Secondary, containing a VxFS file systemmay not mount in read-write mode <strong>and</strong> performing a read-write mount ofthe VxFS file systems on the new Primary after a global clustering sitefailover may fail (1558257)Issue 1:When the vradmin ibc comm<strong>and</strong> is used to take a snapshot of a replicated datavolume containing a VxFS file system on the Secondary, mounting the snapshotvolume in read-write mode may fail with the following error:UX:vxfs mount: ERROR: V-3-21268: /dev/vx/dsk/dg/snapshot_volumeis corrupted. needs checkingThis happens because the file system may not be quiesced before running thevradmin ibc comm<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> therefore, the snapshot volume containing the filesystem may not be fully consistent.Issue 2:
