System communication using rshand rcp is auto-detected by the script, so the-rsh option is only required when ssh andscp (default communication method) is alsoconfigured between the systems.Use the -redirect option to have the scriptdisplay progress details without the use ofadvanced display functionality so that theoutput can be redirected to a file.Use the -listpatches option to displayproduct patches in correct installation order.Use the -makeresponsefile option togenerate a response file without doing anactual installation. Text displaying install,uninstall, start, and stop actions aresimulations. These actions are not beingperformed on the system.Use the -comcleanup option to remove thessh or rsh configuration added by installeron the systems. The option is only requiredwhen installation routines that performedauto-configuration of ssh or rsh are abruptlyterminated.Use the -version option to have theinstaller check and report the installedproducts and their versions. Identifies theinstalled and missing packages and patcheswhere applicable for the product. Providesa summary that includes the count of theinstalled and any missing packages andpatches where applicable.

Download applicable P-patches and extractthem to the /tmp directory.Change the directory to /tmp/sfha601:# cd /tmp/sfha601■Install the 6.0.1 software. Follow the instructions in the Installation Guide.# ./installer -require complete_path_to_601_installer_patch2 Download SFHA 6.0.3 from http://sort.symantec.com/patches and extract itto a directory called /tmp/sfha603.3 Check http://sort.symantec.com/patches to see if there are patches availablefor the 6.0.3 installer.
