182Upgrading to 6.0.3Upgrading to 6.0.3Upgrading <strong>Veritas</strong> products using Live Upgrade from 6.0.1 to6.0.3 with OS upgradeThis section describes how to upgrade SF, SFHA, SFCFSHA, SFSYBASECE, or SFfor Oracle RAC from 6.0.1 to 6.0.3 using Live Upgrade where OS upgrade isinvolved.To upgrade your <strong>Veritas</strong> product using Live Upgrade1 Ensure that 6.0.1 is installed <strong>and</strong> configured on PBE.See your <strong>Veritas</strong> product 6.0.1 Installation Guide for more information.2 Run the vxlustart -V comm<strong>and</strong> to ensure there are no problems beforebeginning the Live Upgrade process.If the vxlustart -V comm<strong>and</strong> reports success, proceed with running thevxlustart comm<strong>and</strong>.If the vxlustart -V comm<strong>and</strong> reports errors, correct the problem, <strong>and</strong> runthe vxlustart -V comm<strong>and</strong> again.Note: This vxlustart -V comm<strong>and</strong> does not catch failures that are reportedby Solaris Live Upgrade comm<strong>and</strong>s.3 Run the vxlustart comm<strong>and</strong> to start the Live Upgrade for your <strong>Veritas</strong>product:# ./vxlustart -v -u target_os_version -s osimage_path -d disk_name4 If you are upgrading from Solaris 9 Update x to Solaris 10 Update y, uninstall<strong>Veritas</strong> products on ABE, else go to Step 6.# ./installprod -rootpath /altroot_path5 Install <strong>Veritas</strong> products again on ABE.# ./installprod -rootpath /altroot_path6 Run the installmr comm<strong>and</strong> to upgrade your <strong>Veritas</strong> product:# ./installmr -rootpath /altroot_path
