152Installing the products for the first timeInstalling <strong>Veritas</strong> software using the Web-based installerTo start the Web-based installer1 Start the <strong>Veritas</strong> XPortal Server process xprtlwid, on the installation server:# ./webinstaller startThe webinstaller script displays a URL.2 Start the Web browser on the system from which you want to perform theinstallation.3 Navigate to the URL displayed from step 1.4 The browser may display the following message:Secure Connection FailedObtain a security exception for your browser.5 When prompted, enter root <strong>and</strong> root's password of the installation server.Obtaining a security exception on Mozilla FirefoxYou may need to get a security exception on Mozilla Firefox.To obtain a security exception1 Click Or you can add an exception link.2 Click Add Exception button.3 Click Get Certificate button.4 Uncheck Permanently Store this exception checkbox (recommended).5 Click Confirm Security Exception button.6 Enter root in User Name field <strong>and</strong> root password of the web server in thePassword field.Installing 6.0.3 with the <strong>Veritas</strong> Web-based installerThis section describes installing SF with the <strong>Veritas</strong> Web-based installer.To install SF1 The 6.0.1 version of the <strong>Veritas</strong> product must be installed before upgradingto 6.0.3.See “Prerequisites for upgrading to 6.0.3” on page 163.2 On the Select a task <strong>and</strong> product page, select Install 6.0.3 from the Taskdrop-down list, <strong>and</strong> click Next.
