"Icarus 2001" was the name of Mikhail Pirgelis' spectacularinstallation with an original Boeing 727 in the Ruhrakademie'shall of knights. Mikhail Pirgelis received the Villa-Romanascholarship in Florence in 2007 and in 2010 was named, at theinternational art fair in Cologne, the Best Emerging Artist.
