Course of StudiesIn all subject areas, the duration of teachingand learning content at Ruhrakademiespans four years. This time isdivided into semesters. Semesters havecertain periods when teaching takesplace, and periods without officialcontact time. In the periods withoutofficial contact hours, students areexpected to make progress with workin their practical subjects, in whichstudents deepen their theoreticalknowledge and prove this knowledgein an examination or through a presentation. It is of general note that thefirst four semesters are very structured. In the later semesters, students becomeincreasingly responsible for their ownlearning, within the existing framework, and plan their studies in accordancewith their chosen major. For more details concerning the courseof studies in individual subjects, pleasefeel free to contact us directly.
