A decisivefactor in determining admission tothe Ruhrakademie is the applicant’sso-called “portfolio” - a collection ofvarious types of sample works whichdemonstrate artistic talent and designcompetency. You will receive this formsubject to a positive evaluation ofyour application portfolio andadmission interview which takesplaces at “Haus Ruhr” castle. If youhave no samples, or insufficientsamples, of work available, a mandatoryfoundation year could becompleted in all subject facultieswithout film.
