What the research isThe benefit of PAR in this focus group inquiry into vehicle safety was that researchers regularly checked back withWurla Nyinta about what the research was showing, what the gaps in collection might be and if or how the workcould be adjusted to get the best outcomes.The focus groups intended to discuss and understand with more detail how Ntaria people manage maintenance,repairs, preparation and safety when driving both locally and longer distance. The Safe Driving surveys indicatedthat people would drive unsafely when necessary. In response to these findings, the researchers wanted toestablish how vehicle safety relates to making everyday plans and deciding where and when to travel.
