Not suitable for high boilingsolvents such as DMSO and water.Both MiniVap and UltraVap may be operatedwith a supply of clean, dry compressed air inplace of nitrogen, if the chemistry allows. The MiniVap is simple to operateand maintain. Installation requires only connection to a gassupply and standard mains socket. It can be used as astand alone unit or driven by a computer,often connected to a robotic liquid handler.After empirical data for dry down has beenproduced, this can be entered into thememory of the Ultravap for future recall anduse. Each programme has three stages, withcontrol of gas temperature, pressure and plateheight at each stage. Nine different methodscan be permanently stored in memory.
