Cork, Irel<strong>and</strong>.The cause <strong>of</strong> death was obstruction <strong>of</strong> bowels after 14 days in the hospital. After his death, <strong>John</strong> <strong>and</strong>Helena, his remaining children in Irel<strong>and</strong>, immigrated to Haverhill, MA.William <strong>Cash</strong> <strong>and</strong> Elizabeth "Lizzie" <strong>Sullivan</strong> were married on 15 Apr 1894 in Brosna, Co. A friendis listed as Mrs. Nolan.On July 12, 1907, she arrived again, this time l<strong>and</strong>ing in Boston on the S. S. Cymric.In the 1910 Federal Census (ED 324, sheet 8A), she (age 20) <strong>and</strong> her sister <strong>Julia</strong> (age 18)are living at 11 Norfolk Street in Haverhill, MA with the family <strong>of</strong> Daniel <strong>and</strong> Margaret<strong>Sullivan</strong>. Margaret <strong>Sullivan</strong>, who immigrated in 1895, was the sister <strong>of</strong> Catherine's mother.On September 18, 1912, at the age <strong>of</strong> 23, she sailed from Queenstown on the S. S.Franconia. Her destination was Haverhill. Her father is listed as William <strong>Cash</strong> <strong>of</strong>Boherbue. She sailed with her 17-year-old sister, Elizabeth.According to family tradition, she returned to Irel<strong>and</strong> with her sister <strong>Julia</strong>, who hadconsumption.She died on March 26, 1917 at the age <strong>of</strong> 28 in Cork City, Irel<strong>and</strong>. According to the deathcertificate, she died <strong>of</strong> phthisis (pulmonary tuberculosis). The duration <strong>of</strong> her illness was12 months. Her occupation was given as a machinist. Mr. Keane was one <strong>of</strong> the founders<strong>of</strong> James Butler Grocery chain <strong>of</strong> New York, <strong>and</strong> he gave employment to dozens <strong>of</strong>young men from Kerry in the early years <strong>of</strong> the century.>Mr. Keane was attended in his last illness by his son, the Rev Kerr J.Keane, S.J. The <strong>of</strong>ficers at the Mass <strong>and</strong> at the cemetery were Father Keane,Rev. James Rohan, S.J. <strong>and</strong> Rev. Daniel Stack, S.J.
