Implementation of Transitional Laws in Serbia 2006After encountering “administration silence” again, the Initiative submitted arequest for starting an infringement procedure against Nenad Cekic, as headof this public authority body as he failed to provide access to informationof public importance to the Initiative and as he did not submit a decisionon rejection of the request with a written explanation and rationale onlegal remedy 827 . The city magistrate has not informed the Initiative yeton the scheduling of hearing following the submitted request to start aninfringement procedure against Nenad Cekic.Public companies: power utility Elektrodistribucija Srbijeand JAT AirwaysPublic companies Elektrodistribucija Srbije and JAT Airways were requiredto give the following information:• How much do director general, members of the managing boardand members of the supervisory board make? 828As none of these two companies submitted a request to the Initiative to therequired information, requests for starting an infringement procedure weresubmitted against Vladimir Djordjevic, director general of ElektrodistribucijaSrbije 829 and Nebojsa Starcevic, director general of JAT Airways 830 . The citymagistrate has not informed the Initiative yet on the scheduling of hearingfollowing the submitted request to start an infringement procedure againstthe above-mentioned persons.Municipalities of Mionica, Trgoviste and Novi PazarOn October 24, 2005, the Initiative submitted requests for launchinginfringement procedures against president of these municipalities as theydid not allow the Initiative access to information of public importance andthey did not submit a decision on the rejection of request with a writtenexplanation and rational on legal remedy.
