Measures of SuccessAll projects need to include a way for planners to learn whetherthe project has been successful. Success means that the communicationobjectives you set in Section V have been met.Look at those objectives and decide how you can measure theachievement of those objectives. Depending on your communicationobjectives, you may use indicators such as: Self-reported movement from one stage of change to the next. Recall of messages in random surveys. Actual production and distribution of materials among the targetgroup(s). Number of people trained. Number of radio spots aired. Findings from surveys of reported behavior or attitude. Questionnaires (with information knowledge exams). Observations of activities. Sales reports (e.g., condom sales).
