Classes are taughtby Illinois Shotokan Karate Club’s expertinstructors under the direction of JohnDiPasquale, four-time National Champion, U.S.Karate National Coach and President of theNational Karate Federation of the U.S.Beginner students will not be permitted to register into thecurrent session after the second class has met. Registration forcontinuers through advanced students will be accepted after thestart date, but the full class fee is required.KarateFall Session (September - December)R/NR Fee: $143/$179Pre-Karate (4-7 years)Young children will develop agility, strength, and coordinationskills through fun and creative activities. This program, specificallydesigned to work with growing minds and bodies, enhancesmemory and agility skills too. Watch your child blossom whilelearning karate and having a blast at the same time.Parent/Child Karate (7+ years)An excellent opportunity to spend quality time with your child whileconditioning muscles, developing coordination, and improvingcardiovascular fitness. Fees are per person.Youth Karate (7-14 years)Karate skills put children in touch with their bodies and helps tobuild coordination, agility, strength, and poise, as well as establisheslasting personal safety skills. The mental aspect of karate isequal to if not greater than the physical. Practicing this art resultsin increased self-esteem, in addition to enhancing discipline andcontrol.Adult Karate (15+ years)Release tension and develop total body fitness! In addition toself-defense skills, karate develops flexibility and muscle tone, allwhile improving core strength.
