We alsooffer a travel baseball experience starting at age 8 through age 14where Vernon Hills teams travel to local communities to competeagainst. Our Community Baseball and Softball programs run fromApril through early July. Our travel baseball programs starts winterworkouts in January and season play concludes in July.Vernon Hills Soccer Club Spring LeagueThe Park District is accepting registration onbehalf of the Vernon Hills Soccer Club.The Vernon Hills Soccer Club has its basis and itsroots in the Vernon Hills Community. The VHSCRecreational Program is both a vital service tothe community, providing a platform for any andall interested soccer players to compete at a recreational level,and the fundamental building block of the club. As the health andsuccess of Travel program relies on player development througha vital Recreational Program, the VHSC strives to provide a fairand professionally run community program with focus on footskills and player development. As part of the VHSC plan for playerdevelopment, our professional coaching staff provides on-goinginstruction and training to all recreational coaches. Prior to registeringyour son or daughter for recreational soccer, we stronglyrecommend that you read the FAQs at www.vhsc.org as they willanswer most, if not all, of your questions.Important - Volunteering to be a coach is the only sure way toensure that your child receives the most accommodating practiceday of the week and time. In addition, friend and coach requestsare not considered during roster compilation.• Separate boys and girls programs/divisions available for age 4(by 3/1/2016) through 5th grade.• Roster positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basisuntil the roster maximums are reached.• Coach will contact the parent/player by April 1.• Fee: $110 (on or before 1/10/16), $150 (on or after 1/11/16)• Practice will begin the week of April 4th.
