6.9 Hydraulic oilm– Prepare the truck for the servicing and maintenance operations.Absolute care must be taken that the oil cannot be spilled into the sewer or onto thesoil. Waste oil must be securely stored until its proper disposal.Draining the oil:Suck off the hydraulic oil after removingaeration filter (3). If this method cannotbe used, the hydraulic oil can be drainedafter unscrewing the oil drain plug (5) atthe bottom of the hydraulic tank.Refilling oil:Screw in the oil drain plug again. Fill innew hydraulic oil and check the fillinglevel (max.) using the oil dipstick (3).Screw on the aeration filter again.Checking the hydraulic oil level:With the lifting mast completely lowered, check whether the hydraulic oil level isbetween the min. and max. marks of oil dipstick (3).If this is not the case, new hydraulic oil must be topped up.1102.GBF 12
