C737 Cyanoacrylate AdhesivePermabond C737Permabond C737 is a toughened cyanoacrylatewith improved impact and peelstrength for maximum flexibility. Itsincreased temperature resistance and darkcolour make Black Magic suitable for a widerange of applications. It bonds rapidly to avariety of surfaces including aluminium, steel(both zinc-plated and uncoated), plastics andrubbers.ColourViscosityChemical TypeC737 is ideal for highly stressed jointsHigh impact and peel resistanceBonds well to plastics and rubbersSolvent freeQuick curingNo mixing requiredPHYSICAL PROPERTIESBlackDensity 1.1TYPICAL PROPERTIESHandling TimeFull StrengthTensile StrengthTemperature RangeMaximum Gap FillSummary:High viscosityHigh strengthTemperature resistance3000 mPa.sEthyl Cyanoacrylate20-50 seconds24 hours25 MPa-40 to +120°C0.5 mmThis is a typical cure speed to be expected on most rubber and plastic surfaces. The handling times can be affectedby temperature, humidity and specific surfaces being bonded. Larger gaps or acidic surfaces will also reduce curespeed but this can be overcome by the use of Permabond C Surface Conditioner (CSA).

TEMPERATURE RESISTANCEThermal resistance is excellent between -40 and 120°C. Heating causes the adhesive to soften but strengthis regained on cooling, provided 120°C is not exceeded for prolonged periods.Storage and HandlingWhen stored in the original unopened containers at 5-7°C, the shelf life of this product is 6 months from thedate of despatch from Permabond. Please also read the Material Safety Data Sheet. Users are reminded that all materials, whether innocous ornot, should be handled according to the principles of good industrial hygiene.Directions for use:Surfaces should be clean, dry and grease free prior to bonding. Abrading and degreasing the surface willgive a much stronger bond. (MEK or similar solvent can be used to degrease surfaces.)Apply the adhesive sparingly to one surface (usually 1 drop is sufficient) bring the components togetherquickly and correctly aligned.Apply sufficient pressure to ensure the adhesive spreads into a thin film.Do not disturb or re-align until curing is achieved, normally in a few seconds.Any surplus adhesive can be removed with MEK (or similar solvent). For difficult or porous surfaces try using Permabond CSA activator.
