Theteam played 3 games that fall,losing all 3.1891:<strong>Ohio</strong> <strong>Wesleyan</strong> records anundefeated season, shuttingout Denison and Miami enroute to a 4-0 finish.1897:Fielding H. Yost coaches <strong>Ohio</strong><strong>Wesleyan</strong> to a 7-1-1 mark andthe team claims the statechampionship. The Red andBlack shut out 6 opponents,including <strong>Ohio</strong> State andMichigan.
