OASD will be using Online <strong>Registration</strong> beginning with the 20<strong>13</strong>-20<strong>14</strong> school year! What does this mean for you?STEP #1 – Online registration will be open from July 8 th through August <strong>14</strong> th . The paperwork you usually fill out at thebeginning of the school year will now be available online and can be reviewed and updated with a few clicks on your computer.‣ Not only is this process easier and more convenient for you, but it will also ensure that the <strong>District</strong> has the most up-todateinformation on your student(s) right from the beginning of the school year.‣ You will be required to complete this process for each student. It is imperative that this update process be completedby August <strong>14</strong>th to ensure accurate student records for the first day of school. Upon completion of online registration,you will receive an email confirming that you have completed the process.STEP #2 – Similar to last year, you will be able to view and pay your student fees and lunch account balance online throughyour current Family Access account. Online fee payment is the ONLY method of payment and is available starting July 8th inFamily Access – NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED.STEP #3 – PLEASE PRINT AND BRING YOUR PAID RECEIPT WITH YOU ON AUGUST <strong>14</strong> TH TO RECEIVE TANGIBLEITEMS PAID FOR ONLINESTEP #4 – OHS will host Pick up Materials & Picture Day on August <strong>14</strong> th from 11 am – 8 pm in the OHS LIBRARY; prior toattending you must pay your fees online. For families with no computer access or those who may need help, computer stationsand assistance will be available on this day. Students will have their photos taken for the yearbook and ID badges, which areneeded on the first day of school. Items purchased during online registration (goggles, padlocks, yearbooks, parking permits,etc.) will ONLY be available for pick up on August <strong>14</strong> th . Walk in registrations will NOT be accepted after August <strong>14</strong> th and aLATE FEE of $25 will be assessed to all registration submissions.Families NEW to the district must register for Family Access by completing the online form available at www.oasd.k12.wi.us - OHS/FamilyResources/Family Access. Your login information will be emailed to you. Family Access will allow you to check your child’s attendance, reportcard, fees, grades, etc. The high school ‘goes green’ as much as possible, so make sure your email address is always up to date. If you anticipate you will need to talk with yourchild during the course of the day, please make arrangements ahead of time to have your child call you from the office phone available tostudents.Basic Attendance Procedure• A Parent/Guardian needs to call 262-560-3102 before an appointment. No written notes will be accepted.• Student is responsible for picking up their pass, to get out of class before their appointment.• Student must sign out at attendance office prior to departure.• If a student returns from an appointment they must sign back in (on the same line under arrival), this insures that attendance iscorrect.• If a student becomes ill during the day they MUST REPORT to the health room. Calling or texting parents and leaving thebuilding is NOT acceptable.• Underclassmen are NOT permitted to leave at lunch for ANY reason, except a doctor appointment with a doctor’s note uponreturn.IMPORTANT INFORMATION:• Prior to receiving a RED CARD, pay the athletic fee ($120) on-line and bring in your receipt. The fee is good for the entire year;however, you must obtain a RED CARD for each sport you participate in. More details can be found on www.oasd.k12.wi.usOHS/Athletics/Red Cards. The Athletic Office will open August 1.• All students are assigned a locker, and are required to store their backpack in their locker; therefore, a school district masterpadlock must be purchased. The cost of the lock is $7.00 and becomes the student’s lock to use within the district. Padlocks notpurchased through the school will be removed. Students using a locker without a padlock do so at their own risk.• Student ID’s will be given out on August <strong>14</strong> th . For this reason, all students MUST have their picture taken regardless of whetherthey choose to purchase photo packages. Seniors need a photo ID to leave campus during lunch.• Taher Foods will be present on August <strong>14</strong> th to hand out forms and answer your questions.• 20<strong>13</strong> -20<strong>14</strong> <strong>School</strong> Calendar is also available ON THE OHS WEBSITE.• The “Daily Class Schedule” can be found ON THE OHS WEBSITE and in your student’s handbook on line.
