Explanation to Street Guide.—To find the
exact location of any house on any street.
For instance you wish to find the residence
of Frank E. Stein. The alphabetical directory will tell you
that his house (h) is 713 Sullivan West. Turn to Sullivan
W. in the Street Directory and you will find him at 713,
fourth house from the corner, five people live there; * at
right of name indicates that the occupant owns the premises.
The buildings are placed in rotation, properly locating
the intersecting streets. Follow the explanation and
you can find any building in the city. Houses not numbered
in many cases are not given in this list. The names
will be found in the Alphabetical Directory.
