Rabbi Chaim PotokCamp Ramah in Connecticut, circa 1960I spent my camper life in Connecticut Ramah, and when Connecticutclosed, I went on to be a bunk counselor in Palmer. Itwas this experience that would change my life, and then by extension,the life of my family. There were a handful of individualswho influenced me to follow my career choice of medicine. Itwas Ramah, however, that influenced how I would ultimatelyelect to live my life as a Jew and create a Jewish home.I hope that fifty years from now, my grandchildren will still be asenchanted by Ramah as I continue to be.Charles T. Our kids’ best friends in life are the friends they metat Camp Ramah.
