Troubleshooting • Problems, but no Error Message •• –Symptom Possible Cause Corrective ActionDevice tape does not index properly.Tape is damaged.• Inspect tape. Remove and cut tapeor use new reel.The tape pocket pitch is non-standard,or the software value forpocket pitch is incorrect.• Change the Pocket Pitch for thisjob in TaskLink, Version 4.6 orgreater. 1. Open TaskLink, 2.Select the job, 3. Click Edit, 4.Click the Media tab, 5. Changethe pitch, 6. Click OK, and 7.Load the job. Then notify<strong>Data</strong> I/O of the possible deviceAlgorithm error.Device tape is incompatible with theTape-In Module.• Use correct tape or install correctTape-In ModuleEmpty tape is binding in the dischargepath.• Remove tape, trim up tape if necessaryand reload.Tape-In Sensor is loose or malfunctioning.• Inspect and tighten or replace.
