See Lubricating theBall Screw, and subhead “XLF <strong>RoadRunner</strong> (Extra-Larger Format)” on page 5-4.Visually inspect for frayed edges, separating seam, andgouges.Remove each filter from the Pneumatic Module to checkfor dirt (filter is no longer white). Replace with new filterif necessary. Refer to Replacing the Vacuum Filtersin Chapter 4. TheDAB can be purchased from <strong>Data</strong> I/O oryour <strong>Data</strong> I/O Representative.The <strong>RoadRunner</strong>’s DACs are self-calibrating and relyon a precision voltage source for this action. If the measuredvoltage is outside of the acceptable range, send<strong>RoadRunner</strong> (or just the Programmer Module) to<strong>Data</strong> I/O or an approved service center for repair.5Lubricating the Ball ScrewThe ball screw is part of the Linear Stage. The PNP Head is screwed to theball screw slide.Standard <strong>RoadRunner</strong>sThe Ball Screw OEM used Shell AV2.If a grease gun is used (requires reteaching two head positions)To replenish the ball screw grease:1.
