LMP Date to the LMP Date and open the date field either by pressing the space bar orclicking the checkbox. Click the arrow at the end of the field or key . A monthview calendar will appear.Use the left arrow button on the calendar to change to the appropriate month, and selectthe appropriate day of the month using the mouse. Then click outside the calendar torecord the selected date. Alternatively, you may enter the date by typing over the currentdate as described in Date of Birth entry.If you enter a future date, the program will assume that this is the estimated date ofdelivery, will calculate an LMP date and will give you the opportunity to accept or rejectthis date.The gestational age at the date of sample collection will be computed once the specimendate has been entered.Ultrasound DataThe Ultrasound date is selected in the same way as the LMP date. If you have anultrasound gestational age estimation, enter the weeks in the weeks field and tab toenter the days.If you have a gestational age estimated by ultrasound, but you do not have theultrasound date, open the ultrasound date field. Note that doing so enables theultrasound gestational age fields. Then close the ultrasound date field. The gestationalage fields remain enabled. Enter the gestational age by ultrasound. The system willassume that the ultrasound date is the same as the sample date, and will show you amessage to that effect when you leave the pregnancy screen.12
