This is represented in Figure 3.9 where we show (a) the kinetics (absolutevalue) of the SRG formation associated with matter migration for the various ang<strong>les</strong>,(b) the mass migration efficiency () compared to the maximum deformation values(✕) normalized with respect to an arbitrary value of 150 nm and the SRG growth rate(□) averaged on the first 100 s (since in this range the evolution is quasi-linear) andnormalized with respect to the growth rate at ϕ = 45 ◦ , for the different polarizationaxis ang<strong>les</strong>.We observe that the parameters <strong>des</strong>cribing the SRG growth are distributed quite symmetricallyaround the configuration at 45 ◦ , except for the case of the s and p polarizations.A more detailed analysis of the electromagnetic field distribution will show thatthe two polarization configurations are indeed not symmetric.(b)
