joinedthe talented ranks of actors,technicians and fellow directors at<strong>Oconomowoc</strong> High <strong>School</strong>!In the year, 2000, Tom was nameda Kohl Fellow, and in 2001, he washonored to represent the manywonderful teachers state-wide afterbeing selected Wisconsin State"Teacher of the Year."That year, he traveled across thecountry, including spending time atthe White House, where he metwith the President to discuss theimportance of arts education inschoolstoday! He was asked to sit on theeducational advisory committee tothe Secretary of Education -Roderick Paige by Congress andbecame an advocate for increasedfunding for the arts in our schoolsnationwide.In his spare time, Tom continues toact professionally in the Milwaukeearea, working with The MilwaukeeChamber Theatre, Next ActTheatre, The Milwaukee RepertoryTheater, and Bialystock and Bloomto name a few. He also enjoys golf,watching the Green Bay Packersand pretending to be a rock starwith his band, CRAZY MAN"SBASEMENT! But the real love of hislife...is his amazingly understandingwife, Jamie, a florist and co-ownerof Magnolia Floral, and his twobeautiful babies,Owen - 8 and Kennedy - 6!For him, they are the light at theend of every tunnel.Visual ArtsThe Spirit of BrahmsMay 18 - June 11exceptional middle school students.
