McCrackeu, of the Canton ChristianCollege, gave fine addresses.The college buildings form a part of the LafayetteCompound at the end of Fung Un Sai Street in thewestern suburbs of Canton. The compound may bereached either by chair or boat. Board and lodging areprovided for the students on the grounds.The course of study requires four years for itscompletion. The college year is divided into two terms.The first term begins soon after Chinese New Year andends the beginning of July. The second begins in September and ends with commencement day in January.Terms of Admission.Applicant should be at least eighteen years of age. Mustread and write Chinese fluently.No one should apply who does not intend to take the fullcourse. No married women (except widow s) will be accepted.No one will be allowed to continue her studies at the college ifshe marries during the four years.The right is reserved to advise discontinuance of stud) 7 if forany reason a young lady is deemed unfitted for the practice ofmedicine, and to make any change in anything pertaining to thecollege when such change seems best.All teaching is given through the medium of Cantonese.
