Humans killed by this toxin are especially easyto “drink,” and offer half again as many blood points asthey would otherwise. Vampires must spend five bloodpoints to expel the poison.• Hydraulic Strength (Level Four) — The Ananasican metabolize the blood she drinks to dramaticallyincrease her strength.System: For each blood point the werespider spends,her Strength increases by 1 for the rest of the scene. Shemay spend up to (her Rank) blood points in this fashion.• Carapace (Level Five) — The Ananasi acquiresan armored carapace over her exoskeleton that providesadditional protection and can regenerate damage.System: The player spends one Gnosis point to gain+4 dice to soak rolls and regeneration like a Garou. Successgrants (Obedience) minutes of air, plus one minuteper additional success.• Mother’s Look (Level Three) — As the GalliardGift: Eye of the Cobra.• Reshape Object (Level Three) — As the homid Gift.• Understanding the Tapestry (Level Four) — TheTenere may glimpse hidden connections between apparentlyunrelated objects.System: The character permanently adds three diceto Enigmas rolls.• Web Sheet (Level Four) — The Tenere can createa large web very quickly.System: The player spends two blood points, allowingthe character to cover a football field-sized areawith a sticky web with an effective Strength rating of 9.• Thieving Touch of Spiders (Level Five) — Asthe Ragabash Gift: Thieving Talons of the Magpie.Hatar Gifts• Blood of Pain (Level One) — The Hatar turnsher blood into debilitating poison.System: When the werespider wills it, anyone who drinksher blood will fall helplessly ill, necessitating a Stamina roll(difficulty 6) to act each turn for the rest of the scene.• Wyrmling Kinship (Level One) — The Hatar canconvince Wyrm-creatures that she is an ally or someoneof no importance.System: The difficulty of all Social rolls againstWyrm creatures is permanently reduced by 2, and theybecome inclined to believe the werespider to be an allyif given the slightest justification to do so.• Blood of Illusion (Level Two) — Similar toBlood of Pain, the Hatar may transform her blood intoa hallucinogenic toxin at will.System: Affected characters must roll Willpower(difficulty of the werespider’s Gnosis) or suffer violenthallucinations for the rest of the scene.• Call of the Wyrm (Level Two) — As the GalliardGift.• Corrupt (Level Three) — The Hatar can weakenan object with this Gift, exaggerating its natural flaws.
