Evidence suggests thatwomen undergo abortion under unsafe conditions ong>andong> tendto approach health-care providers late for management ofcomplications. Provision of services for management ofcomplicated abortions, post-abortion counselong>inong>g ong>andong> postabortionbirth-spacong>inong>g services have improved slightly.However, ong>theong>se factors still pose a challenge.Adolescent unong>inong>tended pregnanciesAdolescent pregnancies ong>inong> 1998 accounted for 2.9 per centof total pregnancies ong>inong> Yangon 105 .
