Undead DragonsLong-lived as they are, some <strong>dragons</strong> remain in theworld, active and malicious, even when heartbeatsfalter and necrotic energy instead of blood providesanimation.DRACOLICHAs described in the Monster Manual, a dracolich iscreated from a powerful dragon through an evilritual. Some <strong>dragons</strong> willingly choose to becomesentient undead; others have the ritual forced uponthem. Dracoliches are greedy for power and treasure,but individuals pursue other goals equally passionately.Dracoliches can arise from dragon familiesother than the <strong>chromatic</strong>, but <strong>chromatic</strong>s are mostprone to the transformation.Bone MongrelDracolichA DRAGON DOES NOT BECOME this sort of dracolich bychoice.
