Contaminants in Tissue of Fish and Crabs Collected in the Gladstone Area2. Sampling SitesSampling was undertaken at eight sites during two sampling trips. The first sampling trip occurredbetween late April and early May 2012 and the second occurred between mid-June and early July2012. Three species were collected for tissue residue analysis and the sites they were collected atare summarised in Table 1 and the sites are illustrated in Figure 1. Sites that are considered to bereference sites in terms of dredging were Fitzroy River and Bundaberg.
