ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY THE GREAT ADVENTURE CONTINUES . . .
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is very
grateful for the support we have received
from our fellow parishioners, and especially
for your generosity during the Lenten daily
offerings and the recent St. Joseph’s Table.
However, we are becoming increasingly
concerned that your gifts might not be utilized in ways we had
envisioned. Our concern is that there may be members of our
parish family who are in need, and their needs are not being
met.
In these days of downsizing, outsourcing, and
restructuring, we know these actions have serious consequences
for families. It is not reasonable to expect that all our parish
family has escaped these adversities. However, we have not
received the requests for assistance we might have expected.
Therefore, we are asking that if you have any knowledge of
members of our parish family who might be in need, please
contact our parish office, anonymously, if you prefer, and that
information will be passed along to us. Obviously, all such
communications, and our subsequent actions, are held in
strictest confidence.
It would be very unfortunate if families of our parish, who
may be in need, did not benefit from your generous actions,
merely because we were unaware of their needs.

Liturgy happens only once a month, so make sure to mark your
calendar for Sunday, April 25th at 6:00 pm. This Mass is
open to everyone to come & celebrate together. We look
forward to seeing you at the next Youth & Family Mass!

SPRING CRAFT AND TEA NIGHT
Elizabeth Ministry would like to invite
everyone to our Spring Craft and Tea
Night, Tuesday April 20, in the Wagner
Room at 7 p.m. We'll be making craft
items such as baby “knot” blankets and
“burpy” cloths to be included in our
baptism and celebration of pregnancy
gift bags. You don't have to be Martha
Stewart to help out! Crafts are easy and
fun. Moms, bring your pre-teen and
older daughters to help too! Iced Tea
and light refreshments will be served.
No need to RSVP; hope to see many
new faces!

EASTER VIGIL RECEPTION THANK YOU!
Thank you to all who assisted with the reception following the
Easter Vigil service. Many people were involved in the set-up/
clean-up of the reception, providing the delicious foods and
beverages that filled our tables and in graciously serving our
parishioners.
This was a wonderful way to welcome our new initiates and
their families into our parish as well as a beautiful celebration
of the spirit of Jesus alive in our St. Pius X community. Thank
you again!!!
