Public Hearing for Public Transportation Capital Assistance GrantChairman Shaw opened the public meeting. <strong>County</strong> Administrator, Jeff Wilkins stated that the application is in thepacket. The county received a letter from IDOT to formally apply for the vehicles. Part of the application includes arouting software program. ELECTED OFFICIALS REPORT <strong>AND</strong> OTHER DEPARTMENT REPORTSSheriffSheriff Randall went over the April report. Sheriff Randall read a letter that was issued to those that helped during theflood. Joe Gillespie from EMA updated the board on the status of where the county stands in regards to the floodevent. FEMA is onsite in <strong>Kendall</strong> <strong>County</strong>. Mr. Gillespie is working on getting governmental assistance. Over the lastmonth EMA staff has view 1,200 residences that were affected with water and distributed 600 Red Cross cleanupkits.
