The centre provides free, confidential health
information using leaflets, printouts and displays on
medical conditions. They also provide a list of GPs,
dentists, opticians and pharmacies in Barking and
Dagenham and contact details on local voluntary
groups, national self­help organisations and local
NHS services.
Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
Provide services involving patients and the public in
delivering health and social care. The aim of PALS
is to provide on­the­spot help for patients, their
families and carers.
