The centre provides free, confidential health<br />

information using leaflets, printouts and displays on<br />

medical conditions. They also provide a list <strong>of</strong> GPs,<br />

<strong>Dagenham</strong> and contact details on local voluntary<br />

groups, national self­help organisations and local<br />

NHS <strong>services</strong>.<br />

Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)<br />

Provide <strong>services</strong> involving patients and the public in<br />

delivering health and social care. The aim <strong>of</strong> PALS<br />

is to provide on­the­spot help for patients, their<br />

families and carers.<br />
