Peace Without Poison

Morocco’s genocide was initiated in 1962 by King Hassan II (1961-1999), who eviscerated allrights and liberties from the 1960s to the 1980s, in what came to be known the “years of lead”, inorder to be able to poison his people into sterility and ill-health. By the end of his reign he hadreduced the total fertility rate from 7 to 2.8 children per woman.The genocide has been continued by his son, Mohammed VI, the current King of Morocco sincehis father’s death in 1999, who has succeeded in bringing the total fertility down from 2.8 to 2.2children per woman.Until the 1990s, Morocco’s contraceptive prevalence rate was below 30% and can therefore notpossibly account for a reduction in fertility from 7 to 2.8 children per woman. Since then thecontraceptive prevalence rate has risen to 65% and it is still too low to account for the currenttotal fertility rate and, as elsewhere in the world, serves only to mask the use of covert methodsof depopulation.550 | P a g e
