Peace Without Poison

While the poisoning of the Macedonian people to low fertility from 1950 to 1980, thus prior toMacedonia’s independence in 1991, can be blamed on Marshal Tito, since at that timeMacedonia was a constituent republic in the Yugoslav Federation, their poisoning since 1991 canonly be blamed on Macedonia’s freely elected leaders.Marshal Tito managed to lower Macedonia’s total fertility rate from 4.5 to 2.5 children perwoman, where it remained until independence in 1991. Since then, Macedonia’s leaders havebrought it down to replacement level by 1996 and to a lowest low of 1.4 by 2005, where itremains to this day.The people responsible for the sterilization of the Macedonian people since 1991 are: presidentsKiro Gligorov (1991-1999), Boris Trajkovski (1999-2004), Branko Crvenkovski (2004-2009),and the incumbent Gjorge Ivanov (since 2009), as well as the following prime ministers; NikolaKljusev (1991-1992), Branko Crvenkovski (1992-1998, 2002-2004), Ljubčo Georgievski (1998-2002), Vlado Bučkovski (2004-2006), and the incumbent Nikola Gruevski (since 2006).474 | P a g e
