The historical record shows that abortion did play an important role during the 1960s and 1970swhen 45% of all pregnancies ended in abortion as well as during the 1980s and 1990s when 40%of all pregnancies ended in abortion. Since the beginning of the 21 st century, as endocrinedisruptors began to wreak havoc on fertility, abortion has sunk to 15%.The people responsible for the poisoning of the Lithuanian people since 1990 are: Chairman ofthe Supreme Council of Lithuania Vytautas Landsbergis (1990-1992), President AlgirdasBrazauskas (1993-1998, and Prime Minister from 2001-2006), President Valdas Adamkus(1998-2003, 2004-2009), and incumbent President Dalia Grybauskaitė (since 2009).Lithuania is in the fifth and last stage of the demographic transition.467 | P a g e
