The leaders of the Ivory Coast have tried their best to protect their people from covertsterilization via adulterated vaccines, which the UN and its affiliated NGOs have surreptitiouslybeen using in the country since the late 1970s. More recently, the depopulation lobby has beensubverting the reproductive systems of the Ivorian people with the malaria drug Artemisinin.The program of population control began during the presidency of Félix Houphouët-Boigny(1960-1993) and has continued at a modest pace during the presidencies of Henri Konan Bédié(1993-1999), Robert Guéï (1999-2000) and Laurent Gbagbo (2000-2011) with limited success.The incumbent President Alassane Ouattara (in office since 2010) seems to have put a stop to it.The loss in fertility the Ivory Coast has experienced so far – from nearly 8 children per womanprior to 1980 to 4 to date – can certainly not be attributed to the use of contraceptives, which therecord shows have not even reached 16%.380 | P a g e
