Peace Without Poison

I cannot even begin to think how excruciatingly hard it must have been for Israel’s politicalleaders to decide to poison their own people with fluoride for the sake of international peacewhen the Nazis had poisoned millions of Jews with fluoride to render them submissive so as tobetter control them prior to internment in concentration camps where many were immediatelypoisoned to death with hydrogen cyanide.Yet that is exactly the decision Yitzhak Rabin (1974-1977, 1992-1995) made as soon as hebecame Prime Minister of Israel in 1974. And that is the decision his successors have made too:Menachem Begin (1977-1983), Yitzhak Shamir (1983-1984, 1986-1992), Shimon Peres (1984-1986, 1995-1996), Benjamin Netanyahu (1986-1999, incumbent since March 2009), Ehud Barak(1999-2001), Ariel Sharon (2001-2006), and Ehud Olmert (2006-2009). Through their combinedefforts they have reduced the total fertility rate to 2.6 children per woman.Israel’s contraceptive prevalence rate has never been higher than 74% and has served as a decoyfor covert chemical sterilization via fluoridated water. Equally insignificant is Israel’s abortionrate, which has been constant for the past 40 years at around 12%.Israel has been rewarded for its war on fertility with a growing GDP. The GDP exploded onlyafter Israel reduced its fertility to 3 children per woman in the mid-1980s.372 | P a g e
