While Dominica has been subjected to covert methods of depopulation by its British overlordssince 1961, the program did not properly kick in until 1974. The UN hides Dominica’sdemographic and statistical data because it is too revealing. Nevertheless, the picture is cleareven from incomplete secondary sources. Dominica has had sub-replacement level fertility since2002.Between 1961 and 1979 the crude birth rate was halved.
