What is extremely interesting about Cyprus is that the man responsible for instituting covertdepopulation measures on this island nation was none other than the archbishop and primate ofthe Church of Cyprus, Makarios III, who also served as the first President of Cyprus from 1960to 1977.Archbishop Makarios III had no moral objections to poisoning his people with endocrinedisruptors; or if he had any he sacrificed them for political expediency and economicconvenience, like most other world leaders irrespective of political colors. No wonder he wasthe target of four assassination attempts and a coup!His successors to the presidency - Spyros Kyprianou (1977-1988) and George Vasiliou (1988-1993) – who were not men of the cloth but merely politicians, had far more scruples thanArchbishop Makarios and did not have the heart to poison their people, which is why the totalfertility rate levelled off during their terms in office.201 | P a g e
