Peace Without Poison

From 1978 to 1992 the fertility of the Congolese was interfered with by covert means andlowered from 6.3 down to 5.2 children per woman. This coincides with the time when PresidentMarien Ngouabi was assassinated and Colonel Joachim Yhombi-Opango became the head ofstate, a position he held from 1977 until 1979. It also covers the leadership of Denis SassouNguesso, who was head of state from 1979 to 1992.From 1992 to 1997 the program was halted by president Pascal Lissouba, the first democraticallyelected president of the Republic of the Congo, and then restarted in 2006 by the incumbentPresident Denis Sassou Nguesso who overthrew Lissouba and returned to power in 1997.The central figure in the attempt to submerge the Republic of the Congo into the GlobalDepopulation Policy is therefore the Congolese military and the current President, Denis SassouNguesso, who is the military’s strongman.Having served as Chairman of the Organization of African Unity from 1986 to 1987 and asChairman of the African Union in 2006, President Nguesso is certainly familiar with any and all179 | P a g e
