Monsanto was drafted into thegenocidal lobby in 1942 when Charles Allen Thomas (president of Monsanto from 1951-60 andChairman of the Board from 1960-65) joined the National Defense Research Committee(NDRC) and a year later was asked by Brig. Gen. Leslie Groves, commander of the ManhattanProject, to operate the Dayton project and assist in the development of the first nuclear weaponsby designing the triggers.As co-author of the 1946 Report on the International Control of Atomic Energy (also known asthe Acheson-Lilienthal Report), member of the Science Advisory Committee in 1951, scientificconsultant to the National Security Council since 1953, and U.S. Representative to the UnitedNations Atomic Energy Commission, Thomas was part and parcel of the failed effort to subjectnuclear weapons to international control and prevent their proliferation.Ever since the late 1940s, Monsanto has been fully subsumed into the population control effort,agreed upon by the UN Member States as a substitute to war and as a compromise solution to theprevention of nuclear confrontation. The top secret effort to implement population controlinternationally has been coordinated by the UN but implemented on the ground by NationalSecurity Councils, an executive branch of government that every founding UN Member State hashad to form in order to advise their respective government how to pursue population controlwithin its borders.
