Still, she’s consideringrelocation to a place with a larger <strong>Black</strong>population and support networks like the<strong>Oregon</strong> Association of Minority Entrepreneurs,located in Portland.Julie says, “Interaction with other <strong>Black</strong>s issomething you can’t replace because there’s amutual understanding of the obstacles we face,like the difficulty of growing without properfinancing or support. But we support each other.”121
