50TWEMLOWS HERDLots 44-67 (24 entries)The Twemlows herd registered its first calves in 1996 and has enjoyed considerablesuccess since then including winning the N.W. & N.W.M Limousin club herd competionin 2008 and 2009. We have always tried to follow some of the strongest bloodlines in thebreed, as can be seen in the pedigrees of the cattle on offer.Following a period of herd expansion we feel it is time to stabilise herd numbers. We aretherefore offering a selection of maiden heifers from right across the Twemlows herdsmain cow families. There are mothers, sisters, aunties, grannies or cousins to all of theselines still in the Twemlows herd.The Twemlows herd has been a closed high health herd for over a decade. The only cattleto come in are Bulls from known health status herds, which are then quarantined andtested before entry. The Twemlows herd has never had a case of TB, is BVD accredited freeand is a risk level 2 herd for Johnes. All heifer mothers are Johnes negative cows and havepassed all annual tests.
